This tax preparer made a huge, simple mistake that cost my husband and I tens of thousands of dollars. Instead of apologizing for her error and doing everything she could to help us, she was extremely rude to us. As the customer before us indicated, she would not take our phone calls after she realized she made the mistake - she seems to have a pattern of messing up people's taxes and then dropping the ball.

The business owner had no business handling my taxes because she knows nothing about pre IPO stocks. When I left the business she told me I owed less than $2000 and I knew that was incorrect from what other coworkers shared with me about their taxes. I had to call her back with the form number she was supposed to file and that $2000 multiplied by 18. After refilling, I then received almost the entire amount she told me to mail to CA back. I called and emailed her for an explanation and she would not take my call. Now I'm receiving a new notice from federal and again, she is nowhere to be found. BEWARE, do not use The Tax Place, Inc! All I want is a refund of what I paid her to re-file with someone who knows what they are doing.

For years I went to the conglomerate locations with below average and even depressing results. I went to the Tax Place and had Judy do my taxes and she was wonderful! No other place took the time to do the in detail work she does for a person and really is concerned about your best interest! I WILL NEVER USE ANYBODY ELSE EVER other that's Judy! She rocks!
