I have had Jon do my taxes for years, even when I lived in Holland for ten years. He always comes through for me, when I get confused as to what to give him to finish the process. His advice is great, his personal stories (he is a Santa Claus) and his love of god is extraordinary. Not that this is necessary, but it is an added dimension to his professional approach to this time-consuming career field. He allows me to procrastinate without shaming me. I appreciate that, now that I have early-dementia and accounting doesn't come easy. Now where did I put that receipt? LOL.

I have been using Jon Bice as my tax preparer for over 20 years. I am very satisfied that he does the returns in accordance with IRS regulations and is honest. His fees are not the cheapest in town, but you get what you pay for, and I believe he's worth what he charges. I think his fees are probably in line with other preparers of his caliber. Jon is an enrolled agent and knows the IRS rules and some of the personnel. He has assisted me with dealings with the IRS and has helped me resolve the issues in the most painless way possible. I give him an excellent rating for quality, integrity, and knowledge, plus he's a nice guy and has lots of good stories to tell if you have time to chat a bit. I recommend Jon to anyone looking for a good tax preparer or bookkeeper.
