I was treated horribly -
- - 4/17/2012 -
commentI visited the Aberdeen H & R Block on April 17, 2012 near noon to ask for an extention form. A middle aged grey haired male worker in a bright green shirt approached me and ask how he could help me. I asked for an extention form and he asked me what I needed it for. I told him that I already worked with the Columbia, MD H & R Block and they told me that I needed an extention form. He asked to see my tax return form and I told him no. He continued to ask me why I needed a form and I told him again that I just needed one. I was absolutely shocked to see this man throw the form down on the counter in front of me and say,"That is the extention form". I was taken aback by how he treated me and told him that he was very rude. I then asked him, "Why would you do that?" He responded by saying that he did that because I wouldn't listen to him. I repeated to him and asked, "Why would you do that? That was so rude" He picked up the form again and placed it better on the counter. I told him that I have never been treated like that before. I then told him, "God bless you and have a good day." Needless to say, I am flabebrgasted by the absolute unkindness of this man. It was uncalled for and very upsetting. I was hurt by his mistreatment and blateant disrespect for me, a lady. I am a pretty calm person and a peacemaker and his actions were unprovoked and undeserved. I pray to God that no other customer at the Aberdeen H & R Block will be subjected to this type of harassment and abuse. This was a most unfortunate experience; one that I will never forget. I will not step foot in the Aberdeen H & R Block establishment ever again and can never recommend it to anyone else. I called the district office manager who was out but left my complaint with a customer service representative and another lady. The second lady was kind and apologetic and offered to give me a coupon for a free tax prep for next time.
