I would not recommend this company to anyone. They are extremely unprofessional. I called to ask a question about my taxes and I was told to just keep calling back until I got a hold of Kristen (the lady that did my return). Since I had called four times in one day, I requested a five minute phone meeting with her so I could ask her a few questions about the status of my taxes which I had dropped off two weeks prior. It really is her husband Jim that is the problem. He was extremely rude to me and refused to help me identify a good time to talk with her. The icing on the cake is when I asked him why he sounded so angry and that I felt like he was being rude to me he hung up on me like a child. I am so disappointed with the interaction that I will never return. I am always polite on the phone and I have never had an issue (even with Comcast cable) and I definitely have never been hung up on when trying to set up a time to talk with my accountant. In a world where there are so many CPAs and the options are unlimited, I do not see how this business will survive if this is how newer customers are treated.

James and Kristen have prepared our taxes and many of our family member's taxes for more than fifteen years. They take time with us to explain when they have the opportunity during tax season. We have NEVER had any IRS issues, and that is what it is all about. We have felt very confident in their abilities, trust them, and have no worries in their work product. WE ALL LOVE THEM, and are proud that we found them first and shared them with our family. We look forward to the next fifteen years. Their rates are reasonable, and they are selective in who they work with.

I do not recomend this guy. His partner does a better job and has better customer service skills. If you go there to Advanced Cpa's in Warren MI. please avoid this guy entirley for the peace of mind.

This guy has horrible customer service skills. He lost information I gave him such as my sons SSN number, and didn't do anything I asked him to do. I had to call this place for over three weeks befor they could give me a definate refund price to where I could check my refund status. He hung up the phone and said do not come back when I told him how I felt about his service. I mean who is more important here the Tax preparer or the client. I walk in to pay him and there is tax returnes everywhere, very unorganized, i could see how this guy looses information. they didnt even notice I was there until I banged on the door. On top of that he decides to charge me more because we had to play phone tag, and he would not give me my retun otherwise. So I paid the poor guy out of pitty. I do not recomend Advanced Cpa's Llp. They think they are doing you a favor by doing your taxes.
